Hands-on practice

Step 1: Select A1:D1, click Bold and apply a light green Fill color, then choose View > Freeze > 1 row.

Step 2: Select columns A:D, right-click a selected column header, choose Resize columns A - D, select Fit to data, then click OK.

Step 3: Scroll down far enough that the first data rows move out of view; confirm the Day, Subject, Minutes, Status header row stays visible, then return to the top.

Row 1 remains frozen while the sheet is scrolled to later rows.
